coilover conversion kit for 4wd???

Default coilover conversion kit for 4wd???

i doubt there is since the market for these trucks is so minimal but is there a coilover conversion kit so i can throw out those silly tbars???

No one makes a thicker stiffer torsion bar for the Dakota or their is no room for a thicker bar is that the problem?

I remember on my Baja bug you had a number of stiffer bars to choose from I had them.

If your spending the time to ditch the bars might as well spend extra time and do a solid axle. After that you have unlimited lift possibilitys plus being way stronger.

Question

I'm in the process of collecting parts for this. I have a set of 10" Radflo coilovers and i have the jigs built for a set of upper and lower control arms. I just need to order my uniball kits and bushing kits. Im thinking of using Ram 1500 axles for a little more width. For the ram axles to work I have to swap the outer shaft with the stock ones.

how are you planning to pass the axle shafts through the coil springs?

Springs would probably be on the upper arm. Just geussing.

The upper will be made from 1 1/2 DOM and will have more room for clearance. The coilovers will mount on the lower control arm. There is enough room between the steering and axle shaft.
