I am currently replacing my Transfer Case (1997 Dodge Dakota 5.2L, 5 Speed 231 HD ) I found some other 231 HD T cases to put in but was wondering if the "Tag ID" number on my T case needs to match the others, 52105365AB is what i have on mine, but i have found numerous other ones with different ID numbers, is there a cross reference list i can use? I found one rebuilt off an 96 that says for standard transmission and looks just bout identical but wasnt sure if it would fit? Any input would be appreciated . Thanks guys
