Which wires go where?
I have a bad O2 sensor harness and want to bypass the factory portion and replace it. What I see is a black one, a dark green and orange one, a black and light blue one and an orange and black one. I need to know which ones of the four go to the PCM and which ones go to the PDC. I have already had to replace the entire engine harness and that worked out great. Thanks for any help.

Just follow the lines.
O2 sensor Pin #1, dark green/orange tracer to the PDC via joint connector #2.
O2 sensor Pin #2, black, to ground at G107 (upstream) or G103 (downstream).
O2 sensor Pin #3, black/light blue tracer, sensor ground at PCM, Connector 1 Pin 4.
O2 sensor Pin #4, orange/black tracer, sensor signal at PCM, Connector 1 Pin 25 (downstream), for the upstream it would be orange/tan tracer, sensor signal at PCM, Connector 1 Pin 24 (sensor signals)
Gxxx is the location of the grounds.
Cxxx is a connector.
Sxxx is a splice.
A "joint connector" is just where a bunch of wires tie together.

Thank you, Dan, for the clarification. I needed those letter designations delineated. My brain was making a mountain out of a molehill. "Ground" simply means any connection to bare metal, yes? Still nervous about doing it but it has to be done. Thanks again. I'll let you know if it works.
