2003 Dodge Dakota Stuck in 4x4
When I bought the Dakota, it had no CV Shaft, they had sheared it. I got a new one, but had never put it back on because I was needing to match some bolts, and so far have had no need for the 4x4.
Well recently, it began to shift hard into drive, and wouldn't shift out of 3rd gear going down the road. I replaced the Overdrive Shift Solenoid and TCC Solenoid because that's what I read on here the problem was with the no longer shifting out of 3rd, but as I went to test drive it, it actually shifts harder into 2nd and to 3rd, but still won't shift out of 3rd. I got curious, and had a buddy drive while I watched the TCase and the TCase is engaged (with no axle connected to it).
Also, recently my indicator lights on my 4x4 no longer work.
Any help toward this is appreciated, thanks a ton.

Welcome to the forum!
If you mean by "the Tcase engaged" that the flange on the transfer case is rotating, it can. It's not really under power but just "drag" doing it.
If you actually had something on it to keep it from moving, not your hands, it shouldn't move.
The front differential will rotate any time the truck moves, by design.
Check for codes. Do the "key" dance if you don't have a scanner. With the truck OFF, turn it to RUN (don't start it), then OFF, back to RUN, then OFF, then leave it in RUN. Codes will display in the odometer window.
