Default New headlights

I am wanting to get new headlight housings for my dakota and was wondering where is a good place to get them. i want to get some that are clear and smoked.

Also does anyone have or used spec-d tuning lights? That's the brand i want to get but was wondering how good they were.

These are the ones i am looking at.

Get some that are DOT/SAE certified... avoid tickets. I'm happy with these...

I got these off ebay for 140 shipped I believe. They seemed to be made well and looked good, I liked them. The problem with doing black lenses/reflectors is it will lower the headlight output and as you know they already suck. I ran hid's in my light and thats really the only good way to get good output from black housings

Those do look good too. Do you remember what kind they are? And i kinda figured the dark lenses would be too dark so i probably will end up going the crystal lens ones.

Yeah, smoked lenses kill your headlight's output just like tinted windows keep the sun from getting through, so clear lenses is the best option. Get some philips xtreme vison/power bulbs and you'll be set.

The housings that both of the two people have on theirs are a good set. I had some in chrome and I loved them. Big improvement over stock.

I put those on my truck as well.. was going to go for the black out ones but these looked overall better and factory look to them like they belong there.

Yes, if you look at the amber corner marker lights, they are curved. A lot of units don't have the curved lights and it looks a little cheesy.

Jeremey, whatever you decide on, take some time and use some black silicon or gasket sealer and reseal all the seams around the units. That will save you the hassle of water infiltration. I resealed mine the day before I installed them and haven't had an issue.
