Here's how it looked with those wheels and tires... It is a 1.5" block lift in the rear and the front is cranked almost that much.

Newbie that's just what I was looking for. No rubbing on the front flares? I can deal with the frame rub. The BFG KM2's are exactly what i was going to use. Have them on an 00 XJ Cherokee.
Have you measured the ground clearance front and rear? I know it's not much to begin with. My parents 2014 Jeep Compass has a much clearance as the later model Dakotas.

I still have the truck (for sale) but I've pulled the wheels and tires and put them on my 01 quad cab (no lift at all yet) and now have smaller tires on the 99. Sorry.

No, but I did trim the plastic just a bit and the 1.5" in the rear is fine on the road, but you'll probably want to bump stop it a bit if you plan on going off road and flexing it out. No amount of suspension lift will stop bigger tires from rubbing if you flex well. Honestly I think a 1/2" of bump stop extension is all it would take. A body lift would help in that area though.
