headlight switch

Default headlight switch

So my switch keeps burning up an I need to replace the female side I found it on Rockauto.com but there 3 different ones http://www.rockauto.com/m/mobilecatalog.php whats the difference in them ( I need the conector side the female end) 1997 2.5 dakota

Most auto parts stores sell them. If one doesn't fit, take it back and exhange. Also, if you use the Advance website (and maybe others) and enter your vehicle, it should give you the "exact match". You also get discounts if you buy online and pick up in store.

can't help with what switch, but most part stores will not take back electric parts.
did you find the reason switches are getting burned up ?, maybe the wrong switches ?, try a different one if you replaced it before. may want to check the fuse, it may be too high amp in that slot.

If you mean the connector, try a boneyard. Just cut what you need off from under the dash.

The junkyard was my 1st choice but I found these New ones for 30buck an yes I enter my vehicle an it gave my 3 choices the reason for the burn of is it needs a relay which I will do when I replace the conector -Thxs
