Default electrical issue 02 dakota

I have a 02 dakota sport. the issue I'm having is that brake and running lights are not working I think its the Brake Light Switch? I did find that my trailer light wiring was frayed and could have caused a shot. I replaced it and still have no brake or driving lights in the rear. Any suggestions

Did you check the brake light or tail light fuse after you fixed the trailer wiring?

Is the 3rd brake light working? That's directly off of the brake light switch, unlike the rear brake lights which go through the combination flasher.

There should be a fuse BRAKE LAMP in the PDC under the hood.

Do the hazards work? They use the same wiring as the brake lights?

The parking lights are run via a relay on the junction block. The CTM turns the relay on to run the lamps. There is also a fuse on the junction block for the lights, 20 amp, I think fuse #4.

Do the front marker lights work? They're on the same circuit.
