Default corner lights/marker lights, and dash lights out

hopefully some people look at this because im at a loss. what i need help with is fairly simple...okay so the fuse box under the hood, there is a "drl" fuse. under my fuse there is only a prong on the left for the fuse to sit in where as every other fuse has a prong on each side. the prongs im refering to are the wire ends that the fuse plugs into. i just need someone to pull the cover, pull the fuse, and let me know if there should be a prong on both sides of the fuse. i cant see another prong that maybe got pushed down on the right side and ive pulled the box apart and dont see any wires floating about. the left prong when grounded to the battery has 12.60 volts so there is power to it.

DRL is only in canada. Otherwise you should have a foglight fuse.

If you don't have DRL's then there won't be a contact in the empty slot.

Are the other lights not working?

My lights only come on when I pull my switch out, so drl stands for day time running lights and they're the ones that come on automatically? My headlights, brake lights, and turn signals work.

If I put a 3057 bulb in rather than the original 3157 (I might be backwards) would that make my lights go dumb on me like this...because I have one of those bulbs in there right now

DRL = Daytime Running Lights. Yes, without that, you're reduced to the primitive cave man days of actually turning the lights on ...

And when you say "make my lights go dumb on me", what exactly do you mean?

Right now my brake lights, turn signals, and headlights work. My marker/running lights don't work. That is what I mean by dumb haha

No, swapping between a 3057 and a 3157 ITSELF won't cause the running lights to quit.

I'd be checking fuses myself if I were you.

Now that THAT'S said - you may have had a bad lamp blow the fuse.

Do none of the parking/marker lights light up?

I'll add that the 2003 Dakota manual is available for download here - might not be a bad idea to download that so you can check the wiring diagrams for that/those circuits.

I've checked all fuses, what on specifically would I check? And no none of the marker lights or cluster illumination lights work
