Default aftermarket projector headlights??

It is time to replace the OEM headlights on my 2000 Dakota...the lenses have gotten so bad that they are practically yellow opaque.

I ordered some projector lights from Spec D and they turned out to be junk. They plug up OK and the bracket mounts well but they are not supported properly within their housing. It is clear that they will vibrate and bounce all over the place when driving. Additionally, the adjuster screw does not grab thr housing very well...push on it to wipe the lens off and it pops out.

So, Spec D lights are out...has anyone successfully put an aftermarket projector assembly into this truck with good results? If so, which one?

THX

Only good housings you will find are made by DEPO.

avaliable many places- ebay is a good start. Many housings have a poor seal and allow water to get in. DEPO through mine and others experiences are sealed much better.

These are what i have now... (also went through the spec D hell)

Very easy to retrofit into projector headlights but i chose to leave them the way they are.

TBH, i think your homemade projector housings are the best looking for the 1st gen durango/ 2nd gen dakota.

Are they the least of all evils? What is the best route?
