Default 2" body lift?

I posted this in the general section but no replies after almost a week. Sorry for the double post...

Does anyone know of a 2" body lift kit? Seems like I can only find 3" kits. I'd even be happy with a 1.5" lift. I did the torsion crank on my last dak and don't want to go that route with this one.

It's for my 01 quad cab with the 4.7 and an auto...

Now I have found a 2" kit for the 99's. Not sure what the difference is. There was no quad cab in 99 though. Does the QC take more body mounts than the extended cab or something? What changed after 99?

The general section is not where you want to post a tech question. It is rarely viewed, so no worries on the double post ;-)

Yeah, it was an accident, but after I posted it I figured I'd give it a few days to see if anyone would reply. Mods please feel free to delete that thread...

Not sure there.. if they have 3" go with 3" why worry about a 1" gain?

Looks like I might have to. Just got off the phone with PA and the kits for the 99's are different because they have a different steering adapter and the bolt sizes aren't even the same.

I had 1.5" on my last truck and loved it. That's all I need to clear my tires, and there is absolutely no point to a taller body lift other than looks. It does nothing for ground clearance. All it does it raise the center of gravity and make it handle worse, raise the potential for rolling, make it harder to get into, add big gaps so you can see through the frame, etc...

on my 97, it seems that i would bottom out on the frame before I'd hit my body.. I'd like to have the body lift just to raise it up since the idiots at dodge decided to tuck the front axel under it like it was a damn foo foo SUV. I swear some designers are idiots.

Thus why im hunting my bronco. the only thing stopping me is that damn 4x4 shifter.. lol
