Default What performance mod should i do?

This is my first time attempting to do a performance mod to my truck and i dont know what i should do. I have an 01 dakota sport v6. i was thinking maybe a cold air intake or something like that. Just needing some suggestions from people who might have done this before.
Thanks

Depends what you are looking from your v6. Its not gonna be a lot of power and some say the money you were gonna spend on it would be better saved for a v8 swap. Things to get a little bit more pep are cai, exhaust, throttle body and tuner. Deleting the clutch fan and replacing with a Efan will give you a bit better throttle response and a few hp not really enough to notice tho. After that you are gonna have to get into motor work.

Youll notice when the truck is hot and temps are up when normally the Clutch is dragging your power down.. :P

and yeah thumbs up at the DIY Throttle body mod.. get the V8 TB and cut the air horns off.. will help when at highwya speed or when you go WOT> at least on my V8

What's your budget? We could throw a parts list at you all day long that would make you drool about everything you could do to your truck. But do you have a dollar figure in mind?

Everything above is spot on though. Intake and tuner would probably be on the top of the list. Upgraded rockers or deeper axle gearing would be next, not easy mods though.

If your not so good at modifying or moding parts like a throttle body you can buy pre modified Throttle Bodies some are even bored to a larger size but they can be expensive check this place out https://www.thefastman.com/throttle_bodies.php

John's harland rockers are actually pretty easy. they're direct bolt-on and only take about an hour. Harder part is getting the valve covers off and not letting crap fall in.
