got pcm in today. Well put it in fired right up said cool so finished hooking up radiator and all that and fired her back up noticed the gauges didnt work....wtf... they work fine with the old PCM but motor wouldnt run.
Then i noticed the alternator wire wasnt hooked up so turned truck off and ran alternator wire and boom now it wont start again. unhooked wire thinking wtf its worth a try and boom still no start.

By the way they are sending a replacement for this ecu cause they said the gauges is there fault must be common

The codes you're providing are not from the PCM. They are from the cluster itself.

999 - "an error has been discovered."
950 - "The cluster is not receiving an ABS lamp-on message from the CAB"

920 - "The cluster is not receiving a vehicle speed message from the PCM"
921 - "The cluster is not receiving a distance pulse message from the PCM"

What year/model PCM did you put in? Was it for a Dakota?

What's up with the CAB? Is the fuse in place?

Do you have any P-Codes?

Hmm , I wonder if this guy you are getting your PCM's from is the same guy they say to stay away from on jeepforum ? Seems to me , the PCM is the issue .

At this point , I would take apart the original PCM and reflow all the solder joints . I've heard of the oven method too , 360*(solder melts) for X number of minutes . That one is not for me

Same issues :
