Default Pinging noise at tranny inspection plate

Havent had time to really look into this, but here is some general background. Bought the truck new in 2003 Its a 4.7 quad cab 4 x 4 and has 295K miles on it. Tranny was rebuilt once by the dealer at about 120K miles. Truck now has a constant ping ping ping - matching engine speed at the tranny inspection cover. Looks like one of the cover bolts is broken off and it does vibrate, but I can feel something hitting it on the other side. Any thoughts from the group befor I have to become a contorsionist to get up in there???

Many thanks
Michael

Not sure about the 545 slushbox, but I left my inspection cover off just to make the inspecting process easier. Could be, however (un-) unlikely, that a convertor bolt backed out. Ask me how I know....

Yep it could very well be a torque covertor bolt has loosened itself up. Especially since the tranny was replaced... You can also ask me how I I know
