Guess you don't plan on towing anything with your truck? I love plenty of wheel gap.

I tow my boat that's about it.. but even with that.. there is enough room in case i needed too.. I'd have to be at max load cap to bring the bed down enough to start rubbing.. there is over enough room even if that happend fender well to finder well..

ONly rubb i have is on front at lock bc of the offset.

My truck is stock with 32s on it although there probably worn down to about 30s right now. I bough the truck with them though, I'm pretty sure nothing was done and they only rub on the front inside at full turn and i wouldnt even be able to tell except the frame has two mark only in front of the axle though not the backside

from what i seen and read if your using stock rims then they typically only rub on the inner frame when they go full lock but when you start changing offset like i have they need more room front and back to turn...

I've go the fronts done.. but the back side still rubbing on plastic.. cant do much about the fender rub it self but doesn't seem to bother it.. just the reverse motion up against the plastic inner fender inserts..

I cut one down alot and seems not to rub as much im going to continue to cut on it.. (will post pic later) and then do the same to other side..

I would completely do away with them but after looking at what is exposed direct and minus the heat shield on the passenger side i opted just to cut away at it instead.

After having the alignment done I have to put a lift on the truck.. its rubbing right on the lip and curve of the fender.. need about an inch to clear it.. its cutting in to the very tip of the lugs of the tire..

before this gets any worse when turning sharp left.. I need to get this to clear.. will put a 2" body lift on ..

I ordered the kit form 4wheelparts.com and paid the extra 10 bucks for immediate shipping as the claim they will ship that same day for the extra fee or your money back.. well looks like they will be giving my fee back.. not shipped..

I think it depends on your truck, I know from the door jamb sticker, the truck was made for and came the 31x10.50R15s with the LT package. Mine are now 32X11.50R15 and like I said it only rubs the slightest bit on the front frame but it never hits the fenders and I have the flares on as well.

UPDATE: I have the original sales brochure for the 97 Dakota, the optional Tire and Handling Group with P23570R15 on 4x2 or 31x10.50R15 on 4x4. It also came with the body color wheelflares and rear stabi-lizer bar. The base tire size was P21575R15

Yeah this 4x4 came with the P235's though equipped with the base 215's (Cus the place was cheap that put them on for free with the sale of the truck)..

As far as the rubbing yeah I think 32" tires on stock rims would be ok other then the frame rub at full lock; but becasue of the offset im running and proper resulting alignment its rubbing on the fender in a bad spot that you just can't do nothing about.

So I'm keeping up with the thread incase anyone follows the same path with the -25 offset and 32" tires..

I would have went with some 31" super swapers that were 11.5 but they dont recommend a 10" rim but rather an 8" which is really weird.. so i did the 32's and now that ive got it done i have to do the body lift to clear that one spot im hitting...

I'm opting for the 2" cus that should be enough to clear when turning with out going overboard.

I'm confused here where are you hitting? And as per offset you're referring to the rim correct? I'm trying to imagine how you're having a problem but I guess if you have an aftermarket rim idk fill me in
