I put aftermarket the Soft 8's with a 4.5" back space and -25 offset.. the more offset the more the turn radious is of the tire as the tire is further out so when you turn the tire is physically further forward or backwards than nomal offset (Stock) the tire rubs front and back when turning the wheel.. I got the fronts to clear by pulling the entire bumper forward a bit and doing inner trimming.. but the driver side because of the offset and alignment moved the tire back a mm its not clearning and hitting the frame right at the bend..

So when you turn your tire left you can feel it hit and then move past the point its touching but when you straiten up its hitting and put a cut I'd say 2/32 " into the side fo the tread luggs...

So for this I have to do a body lift to clear.. i need about 1" to clear it.. 2" should be perfect..

THere is a why to balance the front not to rub during the alignment but the problem with that is you have to adjust the back wheels which will give you that ackward trailing look you see some trucks have where the *** end seems to be trailing the front at an angle.. so I'd rather have a proper alignment and just put the body lift on .

All I know is somehow my stock 15x8 aluminum wheels with 32s magically fit and nothing bad happens haha

Yup.. that's cus they are in enough to clear when you turn.. the offset is what makes it rub.. I found a good site that gave an illistration of what happens when you increas offset (effectivly move the tire in or out) but i forgot the link and cant find it..

I knew this woudl happen but tried anyways wiht out the body lift..

Speaking of which.. they are drop shipping from pA.. i just could have bought it direct and probally had the shipment ship same day.. asked for my same day shipping service refunded from 4wheel parts but apparently customer service person cant do that?

SO word of caution anyone buying form 4wheelparts.. dont pay the extra its a scam..

So just an update.. still waiting on the body lift to get here.. supposed to be tomorrow (Monday) - but I've been driving it around careful not to turn the wheel too much to cause the tires to rub on the frame..

Took that tune off.. its a night and day difference.. power is back and gasmilage looks good I'm wondering if the truck already has something better from a previous owner maybe as I'm the 3rd owner

I will say this though if my truck is stock, then that means the "Regular fuel" tune is just junk junk junk... I don't even think i will mess with the premium tune.. this is going back... esp being I'm hitting 23MPG steady at 55 mph (in real time computation on HUD) with the 32's...

So the lift is on.. still need to do the 4x4 shifter and do something with the rear bumper.. I sorta messed up the fan shroud but it cut it where it can clear since i messed up and I'll work on that later..

tires are clearing with room to spare now.. wife said now it looks like a real truck LOL. I can say I'm turning heads everwhere I go.. wen to a birthday party and even the kids stop playing and jumping in the jump jump as i rolled up..
