PLEASE HELP! I have a 2000 dakota v6 2wd an i need to change my rear differential spider gears. its 10 bolt an 8.25. I was hoping to find the parts i need at the junk yard but b4 i go is there any other car that i could use gears from?? THANKS IN ADVANCE.

But I don't think you can get just the spiders they will offer the complete rear-end only

i calld around to junk/wrecking yards an yea they said they sell the whole axle. Everything is good except the spider gears. Bt u guys were sayin i do need the whole axle?? I found gears earlier 2day an i was guna ask an make sure there the rite ones. I have a 2000 Dakota V6 2WD, i lookd up VIN # an its a 3.55 ratio, 8.25, an 29 spline wit round 10 bolt cover.

 

If it matches this then I would say yes.
