Fuel temp sensor

Default Fuel temp sensor

I just got a code from my truck saying fuel temp sensor (a) range/performance anyone know what/were it is I can't find anything on it

What's the code itself? That's a diesel code - usually.

Try it without the reader.

With the truck not running, turn the key to RUN, then OFF, back to RUN, then OFF again. Finally, turn the key to RUN and leave it. Codes will display in the odometer window. It'll say P DONE when finished.

That code does not apply to your engine. It would be "Fuel Injection Pump Failure" and is a diesel code.

So it could just b the reader. 25$ off eBay from China. Maybe it's time to spend the money to get a good one

You don't need a reader, not with a Dakota. Just try to pull the code as I described.
