I take that back... the house brand electronics leave a lot to be desired, but not so for mechanical.
I'd take the riveted OEM's versus the pressed in, never intended to be replaced, ball joints on the 4x4.

Go for it. Once you've done them the next time is a cinch.

Strange, Jimmy. When I googled it, almost everyone was saying they are made by Federal Mogul. I didn't see MRC mentioned anywhere on that page you linked to.

The 4x4s are really that bad? Obviously, they didn't intend for the 2WD BJs to be replaced either. I'm hoping I'll be able to reach all the rivets with the angle grinder so I can cut an X in em, and knock them off with the air chisel. Been spraying them every now and then with liquid wrench whenever I happen to be under the Dak.

I've also got these junkyard uppers that I still haven't put in yet. I'll be doing it all, one shot. You might remember this thread.

Here is a better article about BAW and the parts lines they supply. Federal Mogul does not build the MRC parts. FM is the middleman between BAW and Napa. It is interesting that BAW also builds for Dana too.

I just redid the front end on my 2000 4x4. i used Moog RK models for the upper and lowers, and the Moog Wheel Bearing and Hub Assemblies. I didn't want to mess around with popping rivets out. Probably saved a couple hours of work easy. I had it aligned afterwards.
