What about the TCM? Are they the same?

Same issue. Dodge went from a 2 wire CCD bus to a 1 wire PCI bus in '01. Everything in the truck, the PCM, TCM, cluster, airbag module, the trip computer and more is different.

Well I fixed it somehow. Lol. Before you told me that the TCM was different also, I had switched them out several times trying to get something to work. After you told me they were different, the one out of the 2000 model was in the truck, and I had some other stuff to do so I hadn't switched them back yet. Well yesterday I went ahead and put the 2001 TCM back in the truck and just turned the key on and all the lights were still on and the gear indicator was still flashing. I didn't start it because I was in the process of switching fuel tanks and sending units between the two trucks. I put the other tank and stuff on and fired the truck up and everything worked perfectly lol. All the warning lights were gone, the gear indicator wasn't flashing, and it would roast the tires down my driveway. I'm not exactly sure what happened, but I'm not complaining lol
