Probably depending on which O2 sensor you replaced, what engine, how many miles?

Which O2 sensor(s) did you change?

What year is the truck/engine? P0432 is a 2/1 Catalyst Efficiency - yes it can be a bad catalyst.

If you used Bosch O2 sensors - change them out first. Dakota's do NOT like Bosch, there a lots of problems with them. Use Denso or NTK.

You failed to answer the question of what brand you used. This would be so much easier if you could provide as much info as possible so we don't have to keep asking this and that.
