Default Electrical Connector Won't Budge

2003 Dakota.

I have to disconnect the electrical connector (Number 7) on the Speed Control Servo.

I figured out that I have to slide the little orange clip to one side but the connector still won't budge.

I don't want to pry to hard and risk breaking something.

Any ideas?

I had a similar problem when I installed cruise into my '00. I did break the clip.

It's been there for 5 years now with no problems. You could always use a dab of hot glue to keep it locked.

There is probably some multi-billion dollar, dealer only tool available to get those connectors loose. As stated, I've broken many of those myself and never had an issue with them coming loose afterwards.
