Default Resetting the PCM

Hello,
I am trying my hardest to find the location of the PCM/ECU relay in the box under the hood of my 03 Dakota. I have just recently rebuilt the engine and the timing was off by at least one tooth, so I replaced all of the timing components and double, triple checked to make sure it was correct. It starts and runs but won't hardly drive. I am hoping that resetting the PCM will do the trick but I can not find the relay.
Please help me as I have tried researching this for a few hours already.

Disconnecting the battery for a bit should reset it. What do you mean by "won't hardly drive"?

When I start the truck it has a slightly rough idle. In park after i step on the accelerator and rev it a little it wants to go below idle RPM and stall, I can feather the gas and keep it from stalling. When I put it into reverse or drive it wants to stall out as well. Also when I put it in drive or even when trying to rev in park it has a lot of hesitation and the engine seems to be shaking a bit more than normal. I can't even drive it to the parts store to have the codes checked, the lack of power is bad.

Yeah, if the check engine light is on, that will provide a clue (or clues) to the problem. You need to get the codes read somehow. A code reader can be bought for around $20 these days. Best tool you can have.

You should be able to read codes without a reader.

With the truck NOT running, turn the key to "RUN" (don't start it) then "OFF". Turn it back to "RUN" and then "OFF" again. Finally turn it to "ON" and leave it. Any codes will show in the odometer window. It will say P DONE when finished.

I just went out and turned the key from off to just before start twice and then from off to on or just enough to hear a click and the light for the PRNDL came on the dashboard. I am stumped and unable to perform this task. The odometer area didn't light up at all.

Not just before start, but to "RUN", where the key returns after you start the truck.

Thanks for the replies. I did manage to figure out how to read the codes. Turn the key from On to Run 3 times, on the third time the codes will display in the odometer. Glady I have completed my rebuild and the idling problem just turned out to be improperly installed fuel injector connectors, I got codes p0201, p0206-8. I had bought 5 new fuel injector electrical connectors and since there were no assembly instructions I had to figure it out on my own.
