I got a 2000 Dakota V6 3.9L. bought her about a week ago, so far just replaced the oil and power steering pump (cleaned parts of the engine too)
now for my next project I'm going to put in the drive shaft and the u joint (guy who sold it took out the drive shaft to replace u joint and didn't put it in right and then just didn't bother) mind it is a 4x4 (going to be) I never put in a drive shaft or a U joint so any videos/tips/guides, basically anything that would be helpful is nice.

It's not that hard to do. I'm assuming you mean he messed up the front. Rebuilt units are available too if he damaged it.
