Update:

So it's not the crankshaft position sensor. I went to another store for code reading and they got no codes. Maybe camshaft position sensor (which they don't sell, only whole distributor assembly) so I didn't buy.
If my mechanic did put a second hand PCM in, I wouldn't need it flashed by the dodge dealer would I?

I also unplugged the cam shaft position sensor and tried to start but wouldn't turn over. I just wanted to see if the lights would turn off which they didn't. Thought I mention that as well.

It won't start without the cam position sensor, nor will the lights turn off.

With no bus you probably won't get a code.

So I went and put a used PCM in and gauges worked but I got a code 12 on odometer. Also it had a very rough idle so I didn't buy PCM. Should I have? Thx

Also, I found out that the PCM in my truck is for a Dodge Ram/ Van 5.9L instead of a Dakota 5.2L. So there's the reason for the no bus. Wrong PCM was put in by shady mechanic. I am pissed off because I've done a lot of business w him over the last two years. Anyways, I have to look at two PCMs tonight for the truck and hopefully it won't idle crazy. It was acting like it was misfiring and choking out. I hope the second PCM works better than the first one that game me the code 12. But all the gauges worked on the cluster so the cluster is good.

So I put in computer at autozone and got P1391
And P0320. They have to do with the crank signal to PCM. I just replaced the sensor 2 days ago. Wtf. Maybe I got a bad sensor. I will replace tomorrow
