Default Code 1762 test procedures on 2002 3.9 and ecu question

Anyone know voltages and resistance valves on testing the govenor solonoid? Truck starts off in second and shifts into high and overdrive correctly with rear o2 sensors loose but can not get code to clear through scan tool. Clears and comes right back cold or hot... Also need to know if you can swap a ecu from a donor tk for TESTING without having milLage and vin flashed by dodge. One other question does the oil pressure gage circuit run through the ecu/pcm

From the manual:

The PCM continually monitors the engine oil pressure sensor to determine the engine oil pressure.
The PCM then sends the proper engine oil pressure messages to the instrument cluster.

Talking p1762 diag

No one knows how to do electrical test for code 1762?

Is this the only code? This is not a solenoid code.
Are you wanting to test the solenoid or sensor?
The code refers to sensor voltage. Do you think your solenoid is bad?
Have you used the search feature on this forum, Or googled it? We can't do all your work

This is a code for the voltage either being high or low. Yes only code showing up.
As for "do you think the solenoid is good or bad" why do you think i need test for voltages and which wire to probe? I asked for test procedures for code 1762 which is a voltage off set either high or low.
Yes i searched site and goodle
so far only found one smart ***, notice didnt say smart person who knows what he is talking about.

As for the oil pressure reading, no **** sherlock! The question was "does the signal go through the ecm/pcm!

Where did you get your vast lnowledge of the wiring on dodges, jiffy lube?

Be nice, or you'll have to go home! P1762 is NOT for the solenoid, it's for the sensor, thank you very much! The only voltage the solenoid sees is 12 volts. Voltage offset has nothing to do with the function of a solenoid. Apparently you either did not understand what you were reading, or your search was incomplete.
I'm smarter than you, at least I was able to find what you couldn't!
Ok, I'm going to make the oil pressure even simpler for you. The sensor output GOES TO THE PCM. The PCM interprets it and tells the gauge in the instrument cluster where to point the needle.
I sure didn't get my knowledge from conversations with people like you. I took the time to find the manual online, download it, and then research it in an attempt to help you.
Have a nice day.

Is it fixed? If not, is there anything I can help you with?
