You guys will love what the 2000 FSM says:

"Both versions of the CTM are mounted under the passenger side end of the instrument panel, outboard of the instrument panel glove box opening."

The 2001 FSM says:

"Whichever version of the CTM the vehicle is equipped with, it is concealed behind the trim on the left cowl side inner panel below the instrument panel, where it is secured with three screws."

Mine, is on the left.

I've said it before and I'll say it again *scratching head* What kind of good drugs did these engineers have access to when they designed these trucks???

I know it's a long shot because it's been a awhile but I am running into the same issue you are with locating the CTM. Did did you ever find an answer and locate your and locate your CTM?
