Preserving a Rust Belt Survivor | '97 Dakota
I'm back, again. After last years failed project, turning my efforts onto this mint 1997 V8 Magnum.
Here's a look:

To be an Illinois truck, the bed wheel arches, fenders, and cab are in pristine condition.
Doing some maintenance on the truck and finishing the axle swap this weekend.
Even tho its sacrilege, I plan on doing an LS swap.
Build so far.

I did have an issue installing the axle, I forgot that 4x4 trucks (where the axle was salvaged from) have the leaf spring perches on the opposite sides of RWD trucks... so after having to reassemble everything, cutting, measuring, welding, and double checking everything... its all good, truck can easily pull 110mph on the freeway (eventually) and has done multiple burnouts and drifts without breaking my sh*tty booger welds on the spring perches.
List of work done so far:
-New shocks (front & rear)
-New brakes, hardware, wheel cylinders
-Axle swap
-Swapped fuel pump
-New ABS sensor
-Head Unit
-Removed excess wiring (amp/sub/towing wires)
I still have lots to do.
