Default Need help no odometer stopped counting, no speedo, abs light and park brake light on

Hey everyone Im wondering if someone can help me, i bought a 2002 dodge dakota, 4.7l. The abs and park brake lights are on, the digital odometer is on but not counting, and the speedometer doesnt work at all. I changed the abs/speed sensor on the rear diff and it got rid of my check engine light and p0500 code. Does anybody have an idea how to fix my problem?

Hey everyone, ive run into some trouble I have a 2002 dodge dakota, 4.7l. Rigt now my speedo does nothing, the digital odometer is displayed but not going up, abs and park brake lights are on. P0500 - no vehicle speed sensor signal.

4 wheel or rear wheel ABS?

All your faults are likely connected. Could be a bad rear speed sensor OR possibly the controller, antilock brake is failed. Check for a blown fuse(s) too. Should be #27 10( amp) in the junction block, by the door, and #8 (40amp) in the pdc, under the hood.

Default Problem solved!

Thank you Dakdan! I went into the fuse box and although the 40 amp abs fuse was good i noticed the 50amp ign3 blown, swapped it out and all my lights went out, odom and speedo working perfect truck seems to be shifting better and it solved my no a/c and defrost problem! So again thank you very much for your help!
