I have 2003 Dakota 4.7L Manual Trans. This summer I have been having some problems with it. It started out where it seemed like between 1000-1500 RPM it was kind of choking, or bogging down, eventually it started shuddering, so I had the clutch replaced. There were some bad parts on the clutch, but the bogging issue remained. I also have some engine flutter when I am at idle. Since the clutch replacement, I have put in all new coil packs, a new IACV and a new TPS.....
Then after sitting for three days over the weekend, it started right up, but then seemed like it was struggling to get fuel for a minute or so.

The truck is amazing condition for its age, and I'd like to be able to get this worked out and keep it, but it is getting frustrating. Any help is welcome.

How's the fuel pressure? It should be about 49 psi. You can usually rent a gauge at a parts store to test.

Bogging could also be a clogged/restricted cat.

 

The Fuel Pressure was about 44/45 in the on position.

 

That's a little low. Was the engine running at the time?

When did you clean the throttle body, as in take it off the truck, last?

 

It was not and never.

Also,
A better description of the problem while driving is that it bucks during acceleration between 1000 and 1500 RPM

 

Clean the throttle body thoroughly. You'll be amazed at what collects in there.
