Default 2000 Dakota Sport 3.9 4x4 driveline questions.

Alright. I had u-joint squeak coming from my front drive shaft. Couldn't be greased, as there were no grease-serts. So I went ahead and removed the front drive shaft, to see if I could just replace the u-joints. Not happening. So it's off to the boneyard to find a replacement.
I've been driving it like this for about a month and a half. No real problems, until recently I get a vibration from about 25mph to 30mph. No noticeable loss in power. I'm also getting some squeak from the rear u-joints now.
Is it harmful to my drive line, to drive without my front dive shaft. And can it harm my transmission?
My trans fluid level is fine. The only thing I haven't checked is dif oil levels, or transfer case levels.
Don't really know much about transmissions or drive line, so any help would be appreciated.

Your vibration may be due to the rear joints going bad. Should replace those as well. (It's a MUCH easier job than the front shaft......)
