Default Code p0306

I was getting a misfire code an hesitation an once in a while a pop..
I changed out the plugs, looked ok,the wires, one looked bad at connection to plug,an the distributor cap ,had dark lines across points,an rotor, burn mark on it,.
It ran great an quiet but many days later when retesing codes the misfire code came back.but runs fine.
What all should I look at next ?
Injector or air leak maybe?..fuel pressure?

I can also check everything via phone app with my plug in ecm tester ..like short/long term fuel, spark, timing, tps, etc.

I had got one p0 code incorrect purge valve but it may had been gas cap ..hasnt come back yet..

Thanks

What's the last time you tinkered on the crank position sensor?

I'd been battling random misfires on mine for a long, long time (usually coming back at high RPM). When I did the PG swap, i found out why. I had a store brand crank sensor, and it was sometimes not fast enough to track the openings in the flexplate- it will see the 2 adjacent holes as one long hole. . The V6 FP uses a very weird design that is not on the V8 FP's. But I didn't play with it long enough to see which holes match with which cylinder in the firing order.

I haven't tried that sensor yet.
I did see a burn mark on rotor button an on distributor cap on #6 on outside ,a white like substance ...also black lines across all inside points.

I dont see anything abnormal for a cap and rotor with some miles on them.

I got a crank sensor from the dealer....

Would that part be a new only one or can I see how it does with a junkyard one to test it?
It runs pretty well actually ,which is odd,but a light once in a while hesitation hardly noticeable .CEL is coming on more frequently though.

You can try a junkyard sensor. Just make sure it is a genuine mopar sensor.

Ok thanks.
Hopefully there will be a easy to read mopar on it.
Is there any other part or sensor to go after like a injector, cam sensor, etc while I'm out there ?
Can I get to it from the bottom ok if jacked up vs taking right wheel an fender guard off..
