Truck still doesn't run right turns on but misfires and the light dim out and flicker when I press the accelerator pedal and acts even worse when I turn the A/C on

What is the voltage, at the battery, engine not running. Then again with the engine running?

How about with some electrical load on it too? Blower motor and lights?

Dakota's are sensitive to low voltage and will often not run right at all.

You really need a DRB3 to chase down advanced sensor issues like this. Next best option is a high speed oscilloscope. Either way will give you a waveform/count from each sensor to see if they are putting out a good signal.

Ok the problem was my both my cats, Drilled holes in them now my car rides like a dream. Back to the right idle no cutting out, sputtering, shutting off, or stalling randomly.

How wide are the pipes I want to buy two catalytic converters right now. I have the guy who will make the O2 sensor bungs. I also have defoulers Just incase.

How wide are the pipes 2002 dodge dakota 4.7 auto 2wd.

Okay so the issue for starting was the cats were clogged replaced the cats. When I got the car back the exhaust shop said the manifold is missing some bolts and is causing an exhaust leak. He showed me one of the missing bolts in the driver side manifold.

Car starts up runs and drives no problems moving, shifting or anything except now I have the code PO136 that I cannot get rid of Replaced the new o2 sensor that was for a manual transmission with another New O2 sensor that is for an automatic.

Code P0136 is still on tried to disconnect the battery for 15 mins P0136 comes back immediately. I did some searching around my and sure enough there is on more bolt missing under the manifold. I am going to go to ace hardware to pick up some identical grade 8 bolts that will fit the manifold. If they don't have any I will use what they have that will fit the missing slots.

Checked the wire harness that plugs into o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 it gives a signal to my volto-meter. So, we're good there.

If you look closely there is a missing bolt on the drivers side manifold anyone know exactly what size they are and what come with the hardware. I just need one bolt can I substitute the oem bolt with something else?

what brand sensor? That looks like an error that I would expect from a bosch sensor or a frayed harness.

That is exactly what I have a Bosch Sensor for an automatic ... I also have a Denso oxygen sensor for a manual transmission both are practically brand new. I'm not sure what I should do now which Kind of Oxygen sensor should I get where should I go.

I am real curious what the difference is between a sensor for a manual trans, and a sensor for an auto.... I suspect it is only the length of the harness.....
