My 03 dodge dakota 4.7l is putting up a p0121 codes but I have replaced the tps and connector to the tps and I have done a hard reset with the battery and the code is still coming up it idles a little high but when I put in gear it idles down way too low lower than when I first had it but my question is would it ha e to do with replacing a map sensor or what other things

 

Does you pedal have an actual cable running to the throttle body? Or is that drive-by-wire?

 

Ian sorry it's not drive by wire it's got a cable going to the throttle body and when I mess with the Orange connector to the computer it shuts off do i have a problem with the computer

 

Too many parts in that setup....... Need to plug in with a scanner, and see what the PCM thinks the pedal, and throttle are doing.

 

There is no sound at all from fuel pump checked it from the undercarriage while I had some turn the key,thanks for your time by the way,Thanks

 

Found a place in Illinois for 99 bucks will rebuild my PCM that way it will match my van.
