Default Dodge dakota parts

I just have a question do you absolutely have to use mopar parts or one parts like for say plugs and wires and sensors to keep the engine running the way it is suppose to and to keep the engine light off

You want genuine mopar parts for critical things like various engine sensors. As for the rest, good quality aftermarket parts will work just fine.

Agreed. For sensors use Mopar.

For plugs I use Champion, they are OEM.
