Default Tires or hub

Recently I hear a hum as I driving, it coincides with the speed as I accelerate. I though it was just the tires getting loud, but when I turn right it quiets almost completely. I stood on the road as my daughter drove by at about 50 and it didn't seem like the tires.
Is this a bearing assembly issue? I took off wheel and it seemed tight and smooth.
It just started about 3 months ago

My vote is shot bearings. The best way to eliminate the tires, is to rotate them and see if the sound stays. I replaced my front hubs last year. Super easy if you have 2WD, as there is no axle to deal with. The big nut torque is 185 ft lbs. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...earings-2.html

Thanks, I did rotate the tires not long ago and it still persisted. It loud in hte cab but not when I was listening from road. I had some 38" monster mudders on my GMC back in the day and you def learn about tire hum.
I think its the hub, mine is a 4x4 so its not as easy, but still doable

Oh yeah, very doable. Well, I recommend that you get Timken bearings. They got rave reviews all around. You'll probably notice improved tracking as you go down the highway too. Good luck and post back.

Does the noise get louder when you turn left? If so, that's a bad bearing. (on the right side)

It was in fact the bearing assbly and it was remarkably easy to replace. Also discovered a cracked piston in the caliper. It was 18 months old WTF? Ceramic type. Bought a new one that some kind of plastic piston, not digging that at all, but it almost all they sell
