I have them straight out the back. Mine have the angled tips but you get the point.

Thanks man. I have a Flowmaster 40 series muffler. Single in dual out. I don't know what motor you have but I have the 4.7l V8 and it sounds great. I had it fabbed up at a local exhaust shop. It cost about $400 for everything. No headers. Don't know if I want them yet.

That exhaust looks really nice. I like the wheels too. Do you know how the 40 series that you have compares to the deltaflow 40 series? I'm torn between the two. And plan on getting the same setup that you have. I'm thinking that the regular 40 may be too loud... I have a 4.7 also. Thanks alot!

Warning about routing the exhaust exit in front of the rear wheels. It will tarnish the rims. Remember Ford used to do it on the F150 when it was redesigned for 97.

Thank you. I don't know what the difference is between the two mufflers. It all depends on what you mean by too loud. At idol it has a deep mellow rumble. At regular throttle it has a great sound. I wouldn't say too loud but its not quiet either. At WOT it roars. For normal driving I think it would be fine.

Side exit infront of the axle will tarnish the rims if you dont clean them regularly & dont rotate the tires.
I have Edelbrock headers, ypipe, Magnaflow H/F 3" cat and Magnaflow 3" glasspack with all the pipe work 3"

NA exhaust during burnout(old file)

I had a split exit rear catback for about 2yrs, looked good but was too quiet.
