Po206 and po208 issue after 3.9 to 5.9 swap

Thanks for the info magnet head I’ll give you an update in a few days waiting on that flexplate to get here guess I need to find a transmission to the 42re works i just don’t want to be doing this again in a few months

Won’t the 46re fit? They came in the dakota rt? Would one out a 03 2wd ram work? I’m looking at a low mileage 46re from the same truck my pcm Came from one of my buddy’s parts these trucks out I’m trying to avoid trips to the shop I got the tranny out just waiting on that flex plate to get here

Alright I’ll change that flexplate and get the 46re in a few days and be done with that. Those 2 pins for the injectors were loose I replaced them 2 wires off another harness I have they’re tight now hopefully that’s good I’ll have it put back together in a few days I’ll let you know how it goes and thanks again for the help I learned a lot since the 3 days I been on this forum

Well I appreciate it that’s a nice dakota you got what’s been done to it? I’m a painter subcontractor for a living. Had the week off trying to get things straight with this truck it’s a black reg cab clean clean truck the wife’s got a 2000 red rt that’s what I’m going for with the black truck would like to get 300 rwhp out of it I already done the basics cai and 2 inch true duals I’m looking for a nice set of headers and 1.7 rockers and an aftermarket intake for it maybe a cam
