Po206 and po208 issue after 3.9 to 5.9 swap

Hey magnethead im back got the tranny swapped and new weighted flex plate. I changed them two wires for the injectors and I知 still getting po206 and 8 codes this is my first swap and it痴 been hell any more suggestions? Should I put a carb on it or is that a whole other mess I don稚 need?

something isn't right. I'd like to think it has to be in that connector, since cylinders 6 and 8 are next to eachother. Those codes are for the injector drive circuitry, so if the PCM doesn't like what it's seeing and says it's the drive circuit, there's not much else it can be.

Our trucks will not pass most state inspections when carbswapped.

I知 in Ohio inspections not a issue idk man I changed them wires im at a loss here I知 not getting into finding a harness for an 03 5.9 dakota I tried that none were plug and play so I知 stuck with what I got

And a little off topic is there a certain way the flexplate bolts up? Or does it not matter how the tc bolts to the flex plate?

Flexplate should only go on the motor one way. Torque converter, it just doesn't matter.

What year PCM are you using? What did it come out of?

The pcm came out a 2003 ram 5.9 gas from what I was told I picked it up from my parts guy i didn稚 see the vehicle it came from but everything works except those injector codes stopping me from test driving it heck I can稚 even bleed the coolant yet lol

I even had a helper push them wires in the pcm while truck was running and it made no difference I知 stumped I知 good at making repairs this is my first swap ever and I知 stuck on these injector codes don稚 know what else could cause them codes should I check the valve springs? Motor ran good when pulled but it was from obd1 truck didn稚 check for codes before pulling

I don't think any engine conversion is without problems their is a guy out here trying to sell a 3.9 to 5.2 conversion that he never finished no one will buy it.
