Hello, I am new here. I own a 1999 Dodge Dakota Sport 5.2L 4x4. I need some help/advice with my Dakota. I am currently replacing the upper control arms, the ones I ordered did not come with new bolts. (One bolt was so rusted it got rounded off)
I am having a really hard time finding new bolts that I need for my truck, I have tried Autozone, O'Reilly's, Advanced Auto, Ace Hardware and Tractor Supply. The coarse of the thread is a 13.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where I can go to purchase new ones? Below is a photo of the bolt I need.

 

They don't need to be an exact match, just need to be the correct size. Lowes/Home Depot have a VERY large assortment of nuts/bolts. Usually my first stop for hardware of that nature.

 

Junkyard item. Bring along a can of liquid wrench or pb blaster

 

In Arizona it's a little different Home Depot is OK but Ace has a very large selection about 8x Home Depot.

 

Ace or True Value Hardware will have them.

 

You can also look for your local specialty hardware stores. In my area, there is a Fastenal branch and also a locally owned business named Copperstate Bolt and Nut supply.

 

Just be aware that not all bolts are the same grade/quality. You need to find similar strength fasteners.

Maybe the dealer? I know it's not cheap but neither is having the suspension fail.

The torque is 155 foot pounds.
