Sorry guys, it's been a busy week. Took a second look, yes there are marker lights, they are aftermarket headlight assemblies so it appeared to not have them at first glance. The license plate light is out. I'm gonna drink some coffee and head out to check those pins. I have not hooked a trailer to it since it was purchased. The lights went out after I purchased it
Since you hear the relay click, check for power at pins 86 and 30. They both should always be hot as they are fed directly off the battery by fuse #4 (20 amp).
Pin 87 is the feed to the lights. Maybe try making up a jumper wire.
How do I know which pins are which as they are not labeled
Okay so I said screw it and took out the whole tow package as I dont use it. It was definitely an after market install. I put back all the wiring as it was before. The lights are still not working. I pulled the number 4 fuse on the dash and tested it. It's getting 12.1v and has continuity on both sides of the female receptacles.
If you read my last post asking about where the pins are located, I'm sorry, I disnt read your posts right. I didnt read right 😖. Pin 30 and 86 both are showing 12.5 volts. I jumped 30 to 87 and got nothing but a blown fuse when I accidentally grounded it😎. Replaced the fuse and tried again. Still nothing
Pin 30 is good, it should be 12 volts. When you jumped it you would have applied power to the feed to the lights.
Are the front lights working???
Somewhere you have a break in the circuit downstream of pin 87.
The headlights and front turn lights are but not the marker lights or license plate light or rear parking lamps. Do they all draw from the relay pin 86 and 30?
I believe it to be a break too but dont know where to start to look. After pin 87, does the wiring go straight to the lights or through the pdc?
