04 V6 Quad 4X4

Is it normal for there to be that much thread showing?

The front sits about 2 in. lower than the rear.

I don't really know anything about torsion bar suspension.

Bit lower in front is normal. Is the rear lifted at all??

Ok, that hunch was correct.
I just measured and my guesstimation was a bit off, it's actually a little over 2.75' lower.

I thought cranking the T-bolt in increased torsion preload and raised the truck? Do i have that backwards?

I've own this truck for about 2 months and that's how it was when I got it. If I hadn't been crawling around underneath it looking at the rear diff today, I wouldn't have even known about the bolts.
