I have a 97 Dakota 4x4x 5.2 L and 5 speed. Also close to 71 yrs. old and will be doing a R&R on a LF half shaft. Not as strong and able as I was awhile back. My main question is Do I need to disconnect one of the ball joints to get the halfshaft out? I know disc and spindle need to be partly off. Want to keep it to a minimum. Ant help would be appreciated. Thank you.
