Default Transmission Error Codes

Hello everybody,
my new Car is a Dodge Dakota 3.9 2WD and after the gearbox now switches back to reverse gear without the engine stopping, we have now received the following error messages according to the reading device:

P0713 Trans Temp Sens Voltage Too Hi
P0753 Trans 3-4 Shift Sol/Trans Relay Circs
P1763 Governor Press Sens Volts Too Hi

What do we have to do here to resolve these error codes?

So how did we understand that the voltage is too high?

Where do we have to look to get the right number of volts?

We would be very happy, if you can help us there.

Greetings Peter

What year is your Dakota, and is it the original transmission?

Take a look at the 8 pin connector on the trans. It's about halfway back, plugs straight down into the top of where the valve body is. The wires like to pull out, and short.... which would explain a lot of your symptoms.

What year was the donor trans??

Hello everyone and I wish you a happy new year. May all your hopes come true.

My question to you: I am looking for a dealer where I can order the electrical connectors in the Dakota 1997.

Unfortunately, in Germany these are not available from Dodge or in car accessories.

Would be nice if you can give me tips and information here.

Many greetings from Germany and many thanks to the forum here

Peter

Around here, we can just order them from the local parts stores. (autozone, advance auto, O'riellys, etc.)

Usually, they are found in the "Help" section. (dorman brand parts......)

Happy New year to you as well.
