Default Eaton Detroit Lockers

Hello my dears,

I want to install an Eaton Detroit Lockers (187C179A) with Richmond Gear EXCel Replacement Axle Shafts (
92-27401) in my vehicle. Did I really put it together? I would be very happy about your tips.

Greeting Peter

Moving to correct section.

Ever done any rear end work? Gear setup is critical, and if you don't do it exactly right, you will have problems ranging from gear whine, to a differential that blows itself up.

Thank you for your answer.

Yes, we have worked on the DANA 35/44 diff several times, also with different translations.

For me it was only about whether this combi fits together. If so, the gearbox is converted to heavy durty and then the axle is converted.

Thanks for your help

Peter

The axles are for a durango, don't know if they are the same length as Dakota, locker will work just fine though.
