Angry Baffled by Random Warning Chime on 98 Dakota

Working on my 98 Dakota 3.9L V6 SLT

Has anyone else had an issue with the warning chime coming on randomly? It'll come on sometimes when I'm driving along and it will keep chiming obnoxiously. A new round of chiming starts and goes for 5 or 6 long chimes before that round of chiming ends. There can be several rounds at once separated by about 10 seconds (rough estimates here lol). Then after a few rounds it stops for awhile and may come back eventually again later depending on the length of my drive. The chiming never has any lights included with it and when it happens my seat belt is on and the doors are all closed. Not sure if it is related but it should be noted that cruise control does not function on my truck, I get nothing from the input on the steering wheel. I also recently traced a parasitic battery drain to the Security/Cluster circuit on my truck (not yet solved). Any advice is much appreciated!

Check your gauges when it starts chiming, make sure everything is reading correct. I believe it will chime for low fuel, low oil pressure, or high temp. May also chime for a door being ajar......

When the chime is ringing, all of these items are at normal readings and the turn signal is off, the seat belt is in, doors are closed, etc

I used to get random single chimes every few months (gauges revealed nothing), then it just stopped. Try pulling off the negative battery cable overnight to reset things.

you are missing one low window washer fluid it will come on at random times but you should get a dash light unless its burned out.
