Default 2004 5spd upgrade for 5.7

According to my build sheet, my 04 has the NV3500HD which is rated below the 375 lb-ft of torque for the 5.7 hemi.
My problem is, I have no idea which transmission I should upgrade to. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

doing a 3.7 to 5.7 swap? Quite the undertaking.

The Viper T56 is popular behind the 5.9 in the RT's, i dont know if they make a hemi bell for it or not. You might get with Gerko Enterprises. They helped make the T56/5.9 kit IIRC. http://www.gerkoenterprises.com/

If the NV3500 will not bolt to the 5.7, I dont see how you can do it...... The NV3500 is one piece..... see attached picture.

Re-Read the post. OP wants to use something besides a 3500 because the 3500 will not accept Hemi-level torque.

Well, that went right over my head!! FWIW there was a member in the first gen. section that put a NV4500 in a dakota, but if memory serves, he used a body lift to get the clearance.
