They are not inexpensive.... Detroit Tru-trac would be my pick, if money wasn't a problem. (they are almost 700 bucks, just for the locker....) If you wanna go less expensive, maybe a lunchbox locker?

Until you get something in, you can lightly apply the parking brake and get a poor man's posi out of an open differential. The idea is an open diff sends all power to the wheel with no traction. Putting the parking brake on to keep the no-traction wheel from spinning will put power to both wheels equally, and being easy on the throttle can get you unstuck. Obviously this is hard on the parking brake, and something you only want to do when stuck but not buried.
I've had good luck with Eaton limited slip units, don't know if they're offered for Dodge rears. Can't imagine they aren't though.

thanks for the info ..i have got new tires that made a huge diffrence.. the last time i went wheeling theres one hill with mud that is the slimy kind but not more than a few inches deep...it took 4high 3rd gear , tack was saying 4000 rpm and speedo said 45 and i could have walked faster than truck was acually moving lol

I have one in the front of my Jeep you don't notice it in 2wd since there is no torque going to the front axle, however I wouldn't recommend putting one in an IFS axle, too much stress on the CV joints.
