I had turned the truck around - this was at the front, dead center.
I'll put the part back in, tighten it down and take a short drive.
I'll park it over a sheet of cardboard to see exactly where it's coming from.

I’m thinking it might be steering fluid although I’ve never seen that much. The dripping is more to the center/drivers side and the fluid is almost clear. Motor oil would be darker? Next weekend I’ll be doing the power steering hoses. Just crossing my fingers for a safe commute tomorrow morning. 20 mile drive on the highway.
Picture is from center of the front looking back.

O-ring at the bottom of the Rack's assist valve has probably finally failed.

Was that a mopar sender? I should have said the new MOPAR senders come with Teflon on the threads. Don't know about aftermarket.

I don’t like the sounds of that magnethead. Those words have the ring of money.

My power steering hoses have been leaking for some time. Hopefully that will stop when I replace the hoses. I replaced the pump last fall and have the hoses, just need to but that in-line wratchet wrench to get the suckers off.

It's been a month since installing the oil pressure sender and I've had an occasional odd behavior. If and when I have to come to a quick stop or slow-down, the sender fails for a second. The Check Gages light comes on and the gauge falls flat. When I resume acceleration or come out of the rapid slow-down, the gauge returns to normal.
Any ideas? Thanks!!

Hard to say. I stuck with a Mopar unit when I changed mine and have been good ever since. Might be the cheap sensor. The cheap ones don't last too long either. I would hook up an oil pressure gauge to see what the real deal is and replace with Mopar if good.

My experience... https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...sure-drop.html
