Default Hello kind of new Dakota owner here

Been trying to rehab a "all highway miles" 2001 quadcab Dakota, she is a good truck for me. Right now need to save the money for the frontend alignment so trying to do it myself.

Got iit close but turning left to far, the wheel takes over and pulls on its own. Turning right it doesn't do that.

Hoping someone in diy section can tell me which wheel is off and which way it needs to be tied in, but can't post there yet. 😋

Done this over a dozen times Get on flat solid ground turn the steering wheel perfectly straight get someone to help you and stretch some fishing line perfectly straight from rear tire to front tire. Just try to get both tires perfectly straight don’t mess with towing tires in or out. It will get you by to not eat tires up but get an actual alignment when you can afford it
